God prohibits idolatry:

- Egyptian influence came with the children of Israel when they were on the way home. Exodus 32

- God demands loyalty and prohibits idolatry

- God is holy! Leviticus 19:2,4; Romans 1:25

- Idols are the work of mans hands! Psalms 115:3-7
