Practice of baptism

Followed, but not viewed as commanded.

Baptism cannot do:

- it cannot change man's heart, faith does.

- it is not designed to change a mans life, repentance is (Matthew 21:28-32), Acts 3

- it does not remove temptation (1 Corinthians 10:13, James 1:14)

- won't assure us eternal life 

What baptism is:  (Romans 6:3)

- Walk in newness of life (Colossians 2:12)

- Must keep working, faithful obedience (Revelation 2:10)

- Confession of Christ (1 John 1:9)

What it does: (Galatians 3:27)
